Side marker lights anyone?
I just got 6 amber and 4 red led marker lights for next to nothing. I was thinking about adding them under my door but above my steps. Does anyone have any pictures they would like to share if they have lights on the side. And does anyone know the diference between red and amber as fair as DOT regulations? As always thanks again..

Amber can be on the sides too, at least on a trailer. I've seen lots of pickups with amber lights in the running boards too.

Just like Steve and Chase said, he's correct. When you do install then Jeremy, I'd tap them into your rear licensce plate bulb wires, thats what I did because I put 3 red dually lights below the tailgate and above the bumper in that crevas..

EXTRA INFO: if you happen to spill about 1 or 2 gallons of used oil in the bed.... it will give those lights under the tailgate a good smoked look

Yes, pretty sure he does, thats where mine are at, on that lip under there. I got 7 on each side...

my girl friend bought me a set of 10 6 diode LED lights for Christmas..I put 5 on each side of the truck..these lights also have a life time warranty.. I had some left over black drip edge for my mettle roof I put on my house...I mounted my LED's to the drip edge then mounted the drip edge to the rocker's...came out pretty good I thought...

This is right where I was going to put mine. I just opened the bag I got from work and I have 4 amber and 4 red. I wanted 6 anber and 2 red. Guess I will be taken 2 red back for 2 amber.
Do you think 3 ambers on a side would look ok? Or should I get more? At only $6 a piece, not a bad price.
