I purchased an MBRP cat back for my 2001 F-250 V-10. As I have read in this forum after I installed the exhaust, the V-10's sound terrible with one [possible exception?] and that would be the Flowmaster 70 series.
I wanted the look of true duals so I ordered MBRP'S single in and dual out.
I was disappointed in the sound but as I said the V-10 is not a great sounding engine. The other problem was a loss of low and mid range power with the open design 4" exhaust.
I contacted MBRP and was received with courtesy and concern about my problem.
They built a new muffler with a 3" core for my truck instead of the 4" that came with the kit. It actually sounds better as it is quiter and the peaky 6 cylinder sound isn't as noticeable, And my low and mid rangs seems better.
All that to say Kudos to MBRP and I highly recommend them based on my experience.
I installed the MBRP T-304 SS kit on my X and ran it for over a year and then went crazy and decided I needed a cat delete (to make sure it was working) and muff delete in 304 to match the system. The catalog showed it in 409 SS but not 304 SS. I called them up and they said the would make it for me. Small problem with the order, I called back and they shipped a replacement immediately. Also included a hat and tee shirt.
I have found them a great company to work with and they are selling an excellant product.
