windows problem
1997 F-250 XLT
From the drivers side control panel you can roll down the drivers and passenger window, but can't roll them up. but the passenger side control will roll the passenger window back up.
Ive been advised that it could be the motor but I'm confused as to how that would effect the passenger window also.

sounds to me like the wire harness in the drivers door might be partialy un plugged, or bad switches. The pasenger side motor raises and lowers withe the pass side switch but only loweres from the drivers side switch? is that correct? if so I dont see how its a motor problem , more a switch or wire issue. Has any work been done to door lately?

yeah, It might be a bad switch or a broken wire in between the door. If the wire's broke between the door and the body,it may work sometimes and not others. I have this issue in my car right now it's driving me crazy.lol
