grinding in the front end

here again for some much needed advice! i just replaced the complete front axle in my 90 f-250. also moved up to a dana 50 from the dana 44. now my problem is as i was driving it into work this morning i started to hear a grinding noise from the axle. so i pulled over to chek it out and there was no evidence of leaking anywhere on the axle. so as i kept looking i had grabbed the drivers hub and it was very warm to the touch and the passenger side warm as well but not as bad as the drivers side. it also feels like i am driving while my foot is on the break. the grinding can only be heard when im am going more than 35 mph under that it goes away. but it will drive down the road pretty straight on a straight away if i let go of the wheel for a few seconds. so i am ruleing out a stiky break. my opinion is a bearing or possibly the gears since i cant locate where the sound is comming from. this is just an educated guess only being a begginer.
