I have about 3500 miles on a complete brake job on my '92 F250 HD with self ajusting rear brakes. During an inspection I discovered the area (about 3/8 inches long) around a rivet on one of the shoes had broken away and there is a crack in the shoe from the rivet hole to the outside of the shoe (1/4 inch). I'm headed back to the brake shop next week to talk to them about the problem and need some advice as to the possible cause(s) and remedy. Thanx.....JQ
