More boost with a load?

More boost with a load?
I'm not crazy when I say I see more boost when I'm towing or carrying a heavy load right? Seems when I'm empty I can muster about 22-23#, sometimes I've seen 24. But I can sure build it up fast and see 26-28# when I'm towing my 34ft goose grossing 14,000#.
Normal right? Because of the load.
Today I put on one of those boost foolers (and a Tru-cool) from Dieselsite in hopes of eliminating that CEL for overboost. So far so good, but it's a bit warm and humid out so I couldn't do more than 22#. Either that or it's because it's a blowoff type fooler and causing more of a loss than they let on.

witch is why a auto trans can build boost faster then a stick..there always under load making heat to spin the turbo....the more the load..the more the boost,,,in my truck w the boost gets higher in each grear..i cant bulid 30 PSI till im in at least 3rd gear when the TC locks up..
