trailer towing

Hi everyone. Frist time on this forum. I am a regular over on the 48-56 pick up side. I have a 02 f150 7700 with a 5.4 with 4.10s in rear that is just about out of warranty and want to maybe reprogram computer for towing my trailer. Any one recommend which one to use or pros and cons.
Thanks

7700 is a heavy duty f-150. its got better suspension, brakes, trans, and possibly deeper gears. its gvrw is 7700lbs instead of 6600 of the same regular f-150. the 7700 was available from 2001-2003 i believe, and from 1997-1999 it was known as a f-250 LD (light duty). Might be a little off on the years.

I like the tuner that is in my signature. Your 7700 should tow good as long as you don't overload it. Good luck!
