351W -- EGR question
I am upgrading my stock 2-barrel intake/Motorcraft 2100 1.08 system to a Holley 600cfm vac. secondary and an Edelbrock 2181 Performer intake.
Currently the engine is a 351W, RV cam, 10:1 pistons, and a free flowing exhaust system. The truck had a 4 barrel before I bought it but the PO put the stock 2 barrel and intake on it just before selling it to me.
I figure the engine ought to respond nicely to this upgrade. But....
I notice that the new intake does not have EGR but does have a block off plate.
Will the non-egr intake work with the EGR heads? Could this cause a problem?
(I am not worried about emissions at all.)
