I have a 92 f150 300 6 aod that the trans will not shift automatically at all, will shift if you move the lever from gear to gear, changed filter when it first happened, no change. Sounds like the torque converter may be loose makes a noise I have never come across before, Is there something I can try.? I have a 90 f150 302 aod with a bad motor, will the transmissions swap? they have the same bell housing bolt patterns, but the pans are different and the newer model has the electric speedo, so I know my speedo won't work but I can live with it.
