New H/U recommendations
TIA
with the douple, you woun't have to buy an adapter, you'll just unhook the factory, and hook up the new one. with the single, you'll have to get an adapter piece that takes up the space that the single won't fill.
if you're looking at wally world they have a selection of SONY XPlode's, JVC's, Pioneers, and the walmart brand head units. they all range from about $70-$125. most of them have the same power output of 50(or54)Watt x 4 peak power.
so it kind of comes down to which one you like the looks of, and what features you want. most all of them have the ipod connector, some have hands free blu-tooth mode.........
and as far as adapters, wally world has them too. they are about $10 and they come with a plastic adapter for a small head unit into a double DIN space.
i just upgraded head units in my Ex to the sony Xplode i had in my previous truck. i had the head unit, 2 6.5"s and 2 6x9's, so i figure i'd just up grade my factory speakers as well. i added some POLK 6x9's in the back, and i'm going to install 4 6.5"s in the doors.
here's a link to some on OnlineCarstereo
