Help - Losing power

99 v10 starts and idles fine. When driving it loses power - it does not die. Pressing the gas pedal results in nothing - as if it were disconnected. Replaced fuel pump, gutted the catalytic converter, replaced plugs and coil packs Put a lot of $$ into it, but cannot figure out the source of the problem. Any suggestions appreciated.

Did you clean the MAF? Or check it's function with a scanner?

You did a lot of work already that has nothing to do with a power dropoff like that.

Also, check the fuel pressure at idle and with the vacuum line disconnected from it. Report back the readings you get.
