5.8/5.0 Computer Question?
Hi all,
I am new here but have been a long time ford man. I am in the middle of flipping cabs between a 93 & 94 F-150. I am not sure and hope you can help me. The 93 have the wireing and computer for a 5.8 (The 5.8 Motor needs to be rebuilt) so I can't use it. would this work with my 5.0?

**Would the 5.0 computer control the windows/locks and push button 4x4?
The 93 / 5.8 cab has Power Window and locks & Push Button 4x4
The 94 / No power windows or locks and 4x4 shifter
I tranny on the 5.0 is shot and am hoping the tranny from the 5.8 will fit (Not Sure if it will bolt up)

Yes the 5.8 tranny will bolt up but be sure to use the correct flywheel/flexplate for the 5.0 and whatever tranny it is because the motors are balanced differently.
No the computer doesn't control the 4x4 or powered options.

Need more info. Are the trannys in both trucks the same? Does either truck have mass air?
