Starter Wont Stop!
i went to start my 91 f-250 the other day, and it fired up fine but when i let off the starter, it didnt stop turning over the motor. i could turn the key to "off" and the truck would shut off but the starter would keep turning over the motor. i need to get the truck fixed by monday, so any help is appreciated. i will post the solution to the problem when i find it. any suggestions?

Pull the wire with the rubber boot off of the starter relay. Does it still want to crank non stop?
The positive battery cable connects to the starter relay.
The wire with the rubber boot connects to the ignition switch.

oh yeah, sorry... anyways when i went out there this morning, i gave the starter a few love taps with a hammer, and it fired up and has been working the entire day. i dont know how long it will stay working, but at least if it does it again i know how to fix it.
