only that when i took it to the dealer, they said it was a loose ground wire, and they fixed it,but it continues,it also will stall,it seems like when i turn a corner at low speed it will do it,it will also when cold skip and miss engine light flash on and off,i love my truck but im very dissapointed, all this from day one brand new thank you so much for any help
Can you get your hands on an electrical diagram from the truck? I've heard of loose grounds causing this problem exactly. Might be worth your while to go through every ground. I would start with all the grounds that ground on the back of the engine. It's always the hardest ones to get to that fail. But I recall someone claiming the chassis ground caused issues like this with his 05 V10.
I had a similar issue (in a different truck) and it turned out to be the ground for the injectors. Took me MONTHS to find the damn thing as I was looking at everything else BUT a bad ground.
I went through and would tap all the wire bundles with a wooden handle from a hammer. I finally stumbled upon a ground that went to the back of the engine. Rewired it to the front and no more problems.
For my 2005, the owner's manual describes limp mode as a mode that the engine enters when it believes it is overheating, and in particular that it is low on coolant. Evidently it just fires every other cylinder to keep things cool.
I'd try to locate this coolant sensor, and even replace it if its not too expensive....
