Scored me a clock, spedo with trip odo, and a tachometer all for 12 bucks. Only thing I didn't get was a tranny to temporarily replace the one I am working on.

Trying to figure out what to do about my immobile truck....

Found a guy locally who is trying to sell his 88 f150 for $200, it's a hack job. The front clip is from an 81, looks like a good way to upgrade mine to a 4x4 but I am weary as I cant really test anything (neither gas tank is installed properly and it isn't set up to even run a little bit. I am really tempted but I don't want to put another vehicle in my front yard (might upset the wife...)

I didn't manage to get the circuit traces for my tachometer. The nearest decent yard to me is about two hours

I am fairly good at wiring things, does anyone know how to wire these without the traces?

From the upper left going clockwise, the posts are labeled G, C, B, and 8, I am thinking that G is ground, C is coil, and B is battery, but 8?

I've hooked up an after market tach in a different vehicle before but that is just coil, ground, battery, and lights.

I guess it would be wiser to read all of the "read first" posts at the top of our area.
