Banks Snakes

I have a 2006 f-350 6.0l and i just ordered a six gun and speed loader. I kinda of under stand the instalation part is sort of dificult. I am really confused about after the instal how a person sets the tranny to the different power levels. Anyone else been there, did that, done that?

Technically speaking Banks and alot of the other tuning companies out there do not, I repeat, do not fully tune the transmission. One of the many drawbacks of shift on the fly type devices, be it modules or tuners.

The only device that fully tunes the TCM(tranny) and ECM(engine) is the SCT that is out on the market today. I know of one other that is coming and is very close to being released, but it isn't out yet to the general public.

I'm afraid to mention it but you bought into a lot of ad campaigns for which Banks is the best at. Shift on the fly is a novelty that is not good for the torqshift or the 6.0 at all. Your odds of having headbolt and/or tranny issues are exponentially increased over a device with custom tunes.
