Swapping Beds

Hey guys im going to buy a straight bed this weekend for 150 maybe less if its in worse shape than ive been told. Im switching from a flareside bed which is in pretty bad shape but im going to hold onto it for later on if i decide to repair it.

i was just wondering how hard it would be to swap the beds and if i should look out for anything in the process

is it a factory made flatbed or a homemade bed. if its a homemade bed you may have to either make or buy spacers for between the bed and frame.

its just a factory bed same year as mine
im hoping it will go on with little to no problems aha

if its a factory bed same year i dont see any problems. you may have to do a little fab work but not much

You may have to drill new holes.
