Progress on shop
Finally after blood, tears and set back's my shop is ready for insulation and sheet-rock it's been an up-hill battle, last summer on the day of slab pour my ##@@$$%% neighbor called the county, who prompley put a stop/hold om my permit, concrete trucks in route mind you due the fact that my shop was 4' in an easement.. When asked by the inspector why he called " its my duty to ensure everybody is in compliance"
Imagine trying to call the trucks off at this point...
But now my little f-1 is closer to a sheltered home..

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Neighbors can be such a pain. Mine used to let their dog out in the morning, in the front yard, and the damn dog came over to my yard to do his business. They finally got the message but it will forever be embedded in my memory. Glad to hear that you are accomplishing your goal. Ole truckers are such a nice bunch....... Here's to you.

I too had to fight setback regs when I put up my garage because in the original site plan the front corner (It sits on a diagonal) was 2' past the side to side projection of the back wall of my house which made it located in the side yard rather than the back yard and needed to be further from the rear lot line if located in the side yard. Ended up having to put the corner even with the projection of the front wall of my house, some 25' CLOSER to the street! Didn't make any sense to me...
