Steering Help

I have an 06 Super Duty F-350 and within the last three weeks I have noticed that the steering wheel will shake at speed up to 45 mph. Is this something serious or will the new tires I am fixing to install solve the problem

Well, I'm guessing that it's a wheel balance issue or a bent rim. When they balance the new tires a bent rim will show up and they won't be able to balance it. Could be other things but if you are replacing the tires real soon, I'd definitely wait until then.

Tires sure can do it bad. I had a set of Hoosiers that were made by Cooper and I had to have them balanced every 5000 miles.
