Don't laff and tell me this is a Ford truck website,I know that. But I have to ask. I have searched dennis carpenter, C &G, Early Ford, Ebay, Hemmings, craigslist and may more. But for some reason I cannot find something as simple as a 1939 Ford Car horn button spring. I am not sure if the 39 truck is the same. I know the 1940 car & truck are diffrent then the 39.
This is a total orginal 1939. Anyone with ideas ???
THANKS !!!!!!

I have a 38 Cabover, had the distributors rebuilt, all valve are free, has spark, motor spins nice but I can't get it to fire, any ideas on what to , TIim
OK guys, I got the poop on my set-up, I have the domed dist that is setup and strobed on the bench, according to the guys that did it there is no more to do, my initial thought was this has to be 180 degrees off but the offset on the dist and cam can only go together one way so that can't be the problem, anybody have any ideas what I should check next, The gas tank is rusty so I've been trying to start by pouring a little gas in the carb, so assuming I have spark and the wiring is right shouldn't the truck at least fire, any thoughts on this greatly appreciated, moseyboy
