Another Shocking Tread!
The last shocks I tried where the 5150 Bilsteins. Not to impressd with them.
But they do look cool!
So while I was surfing the net I came upon this Australian poll about shocks.
A must to check out if looking for more shock info!

I did expect a little better showing from Rancho though.
Funny, many in there mention Rancho's "week rebound control" and yet that's what I like about them. They put the wheel back on the ground quicker.

My 95 Bronco bucks in the rear just like a Bronco when I hit the whoops. I tried the Rancho adjustables set to firm but got the same results on the whoops.
Back when I had a '78 Toyota Land Cruiser (FJ40), I seriously wanted a set of OME shocks, but I never was brave enough to pull the trigger, as they were relatively pricey. I did run a set of Skyjackers (that came with the lift that I installed on it), and ended up replacing them with Rancho R9000s for the adjustable firmness. The latter did help with ride quality a fair amount...if they were on the right setting for what I was doing.
