wont run right
I have an 88 f150 with a 300 in it. It cranks up and idles fine. If I take it down the road and punch it out it will start to studder and break up around 3700 rpms and then clear up and pick its power back up but if i just ease into the throttle i can make it rev all the way out without ever having any problems. Was wondering if anybody has any ideals?

i guess i should give the history of what ive done to the truck. the tank has been dropped and cleaned. both the internal fuel pump and the booster pump on the rail has been replaced a long with the filter. plugs, wires, rotor, and cap has been replaced. new ignition coil and ignition control module has been installed. that why this has me stumped because as far as fuel and ignition goes its been replaced besides injectors but it doesnt act like an injector at all

It would have been and maybe still is cheaper to buy a fuel pressure gauge, hook it to the fuel rail and put it where you or someone can see it.
Take it for a ride and if the fuel pressure stays between 45 and 58 PSI you do not have a fuel problem.
