can any one help on this intake manifold. i think the block is a 57 has the ECZ 6015 C block an the ECZ G heads. i have look an looked even went back sum 20 pages an coulden find anything on the 9425 H intake. what i wont to do is get rid of the 2bl carb an put on a 4 bl carb. the motor is in a 56 f-100. i trailered it home about 5 years ago, sit here till i got it road worthy replaced windshield replaced everthing on the brakes. last week i took off them high dollar t-bird alum valve covers [already on it] top end was clean as a whistle have never seen one that old that clean. truck has plenty of power motor runs great. not sure on gas mileage havent had it on road to long. my 1st y-block an love it. have a 55 f-100 with a 351m in it thinking bout getten a y - block for it. but anywho can anyone help on intake ecg 9425 h. am new here have found lotta good info here thanks ...Ron
Ron welcome to FTE, I don't know much about your Y-block intake but I'm sure someone will be along who does. Sounds like you have a full plate with 2 F-100s. Try to post some pictures of your trucks cause we do like to look at pictures.

Are you sure it isn't 9425-A? I only know of an A and a B manifold. A had a small base 4 bbl for what is commonly called a Holley Teapot carb, while the B manifold came along in 1957 (I think) and will fit modern sized carbs. You would need an adapter to run a modern 4bbl on the A manifold.
There is also a site called "Y Blocks Forever," and they have forums specific to the Ys. I can't imagine replacing anything "modern" with a Y, though. Sounds like you have a good one. There isn't a McCulloch supercharger on it, by chance is there?
