CAI - Installed

Hey Guys,

Update on the CAI install.

First off Mike @ 5 Star Tuning - Phenomenal!!!!!

The S&B CAI is a beautiful kit and installs very easily and really clean up the look under the hood, very hig quility parts that fit tgether perfectly!

I did have a small problem with my Xcal3 needing to be formatted and reprogrmamed, but the guys at SCT were also amazing and remote connected to my laptop and had it all sorted out in a couple of hours!!

One major thing I noticed was the sound, the truck has a much deeper aggresive sound to it, almost more of a roar, kinda like my old 5.0

With Mikes tunem, I really feel more torque low down in the RPM, and when it gets up to 4000rpm it really feels good Breaths soo much better and sounds amazing!

I would recommend one for anyone with a newer F150!!

Its an oil'd filter, which I have no problems with, I have always used K&N and just use the right amount of oil when cleaning

I spent an hour carfully removing the old intake tubing and cleaning things up and lining the new stuff up perfectly.

Here is cell phone pic for some reference

The guys here where I work are putting in a order and what me to get one too, they are going with a Volant I think. $399 plus tax and shipping. I just don't really see a point if I get rid of the truck in a year, like I might do.
