What would be some of the easiest mods for me to make a 1993 Ford F150 ext cab 5.8L V8 A) Sound better and to B) to give it more hp?
How much of a power decrease will I notcie do you think with putting on 33's? Where do I get the speedometer re-calobrated? I wanted to add some simple stuff to gain power and of course also make it sound better for the loss of power that I will be getting with bigger tires.
Tyler!,....You just got this truck a few days ago, right?.....Why dont you take some time and get to know it before throwing on expensive mods, you never know what trouble you may still have hidden that may break after you throw $1,000 worth of tires on it. If it were mine I would be doing a complete inspection looking for potential problems (leaks, belts, hoses, etc...) and spending some money on a COMPLETE tune up, having the trans. serviced, etc.........After you are SURE you have a strong truck, then you can start adding stuff like you want. (Hint) Your neighbors will appreciate a less than NASCAR loud exhaust system. 32/11.50s will fit with no lift and only minor rub in reverse turns.
--Cut off mufflers, cut pipes as close to the manifolds as possible. Use Flex pipe to make stacks, which can be hose-clamped to the mirrors--the cool thing is the flex makes it possible to open and close the doors, and you have the sound right where you want it.
--Take off the aircleaner, you'll get bitchin' intake honk.
--Run 65 psi in those tires. Burnouts will be easier and they'll use less power.

Lol I got it a week ago and have barely even gotten to drive it yet, because I am grounded. I am not worried about the exhaust, because we live in the country. A complete tune up will not be cheap, will it? I have 1500 dollers left, and my parents owe me another 1.5k, so i should have enough money for whne it breaks down I would think.

Keep your right foot down!
P.S. this was not funny at all. Good try though bud.
What's funny is a guy who keeps asking for advice but takes none of what he is given.
Noise matters in the country--why the heck do people move out there but for peace and quiet.
Run the pipes right into the cab, you'll get great sound that way.
No there is serval different reasons people move out here. Ours was not for peace and quiet. We have cattle, sheep, 6 dogs, cats, 6 people in our familly, 4 of which are kids (1 baby a week old).. It is always extremley noisy here. My dad has a 67 chevelle ss with a 425 horse engine(Forget name specificly) and I gaurntee that car is louder than anything I will get.
Now, when you were talking about running the pipes into the sound I was figured you were j/k. I've never seen anyone do that, and it does not make sense.
