First off with a 6 in lift you need to be running about 37" tires, but you really can't do that if you are not wanting to get wider rims. With your stock rims 285"s (33") is about all the bigger you want to go. But your truck would look a little goofy with 33's and a 6" lift.

I only have a 2.5" lift and I run 35's

Other things that really matter are you going to be doing any towing? are you going to be doing a lot of off roading?

Personally if you use your truck alot I think a 4" lift with 35's is pretty sweet looking.

Depends on how wide you want them.

Example

375/55/16 = 33-15.5-16
375/65/16 = 36-15.5-16

Most 37 in tires are labled 37" not 385.

It will just take some research.

First you have to figure what size rim you need 16,17,18,20 them also width of rim is dependant on width of tire. 12.5 inch wide tire needs to be on 9 or 10 in wide rim.

305/70/16
Are 33" tall and 12.2" wide. You really need 9" wide rim for these. I think you said you had a 2002 which the stock rims are only 7.5" wide (you will end up with a lot of side wall bulge) and again 33" tire is very short for a 6" lift. You will have a lot of empty wheel well space. Maybe that is what you like though.

Yes, they will fit, but I sure as hell wouldn't tow anything with them.
12.5 in wide tire on a 7.5 " rim isn't the safest thing in the world and your tires will not wear very well because the inner side wall are going to pull into the rims really bad. I know because when I switched my rims and tires, I had a bad rim show up, so had to put 1 of my 315 tire on my origianl 7.5 in rim for a week. even lower down to 35 lbs. I couldnt get the tire to wear all the way across because they were pulled in so tight.
Your tires will be shot in 25K.

Some 18X10 wheels with 4.5" of back spacing would be great for your Super Duty... just like the one's I have for sale in the Classified section of the forum.

Sounds like you're willing to compromise what you really want for the sake of not having to purchase new rims. If this is the case, you won't be happy with the end result and are just wasting money. If I were you, just purchase a set of used rims from someone and clean them up! I got my 16x9" Eaton black wheels for $100 from a buddy. Just look around, there are plenty on craigslist etc. Don't compromise, wait and get what you really want.

If you are serious about 37" I have a great deal for you: Rims and tires for a lot less than tires alone.

My Excursion came with these, and I am going to a street tire instead. Give offer, they ave to go.

I am running a 2.5 in leveling kit with 315's. I have 10" wide wheeels 4.5 in back spacing. The only thing I had to do is cut off 1 inch of the lower air valance and I have all the clearance in the world to run 315's. This is of course on a 04 Front leaf spring truck.

Coils up front may be different.but I doubt it
