4 wire plug????

I just got one of those hitch brake lights and Ford went and changed the 4 wire plug. Anyone else notice this and what type of plug is it?

did they change it to a 5 wire? If so, the fifth wire is for reverse. It powers a reverse lockout solenoid on trailers equipped with surge disc brakes

There are at least a half dozen "standardized" trailer connections out there, from 4 to 9 contacts (or more?).
The 4 pin is the old standard for light duty trailers. I believe the most common for trailers is now the 7 pole.... and thought that is what Ford was installing.

Anyways, what do you have?
