windshield washer

Need help washer pump works nothing comes out.

Make sure there is fluid in the bottle...

Then hook a seperate hose to the bottom of the bottle, and hang it over the fender.

Operate the washer pump and see if it pumps water out.

If it does, your nozzles at the cowl are most likely plugged.

If it doesn't pump water, then either the pump or bottle has a plug or is defective.

If you have water in the bottle and the bottom hose off

is should fluid drain out the hole when the pump is not on mine does not.

Then there is an obstruction in the outlet, obviously. No one can tell over the internet exactly how it is obstructed; therefore you'll have to investigate yourself...

Unless you're asking if there is no hose connected, should fluid drain out? I don't understand your post..."is should fluid drain out"

Mine did the same. Take each section of hose off and blow air through them. Unscrew the metal nozzles under the cowl. Clean these and blow air through. Dirt gets trapped in these and causes blockage.
