86 F150 Door Part Question
I’m currently restoring my 86 F150 and am looking for that waterproof black paper that is typically found glued to the inside door, behind the door panel. I have a couple of catalogs and (NPD, LMG) and don’t see it in either of them. Of course it might help if I had the proper nomenclature. Can anybody help me out here? Thanks, John

Most newer vehicles just use a thick plastic covering and butyl.
It's a much better choice than paper and you can probably get some at Home Depot or Lowes.
IMO it would be better to leave the vapor barrier off so the inside of the door can breathe rather than trapping moisture inside there.
