'91 F-150 Stalling

Hey guys.
My '91 has been giving me trouble as of late and I'm not sure what the problem could be. I can go out and start the engine when it's cold and it will fire up every time. I let it warm up a bit and drop it into gear. From time to time, not always, the idle will bounce a bit and then the engine will stall. It only happens when I first drop it into gear and give it some gas to get going.
Once it stalls, it won't start again. It will crank over fine, but will not fire. Each time it has stalled, I can smell fuel under the hood almost like it has flooded. I have to let it sit for about 30 minutes and then it will crank up again. Any ideas as to where to start looking?
1991 F-150 351W automatic...
Thanks,
JEV

I'm pretty sure you already figured this out, but your engine is being flooded with fuel. Anyways, Coolant temp sensor? My truck was doing the same thing until I replaced that sensor.

I plan to change out the coolant temp sensor to see if it helps the problem. I'm hoping its that simple...
