well around 8 pm this guy took a couple of girls hostage at the trailor court in town.. i heard that he has a big gun and is threatining his life as well as the girls. as of now the town cops are there as well as the cops from 2 neighboring towns. SWAT is also there, and the FBI is en route. they cleared the park out of all people, they are walking around in full gear and carrying huge machine guns. mind you this town is really small, like the high school here has only 320 ish ppl

 

Bad things happen in small towns all over the country. It definately surprises you when it's in your town.

its everywhere. I just had a guest who decided he needed ak47 and thousands of rounds of ammo that are made to penetrate most everything in order to stay at motel. Could have gotten worse than it did but still makes you think about what is going thru peoples minds.

I may do some stupid and bad things (yesterday in club is prime example) once in a while but cant imagine using a firearm in such a manner, hostage taking etc. Just dont get mindset of most folks.

i hope the girls are all safe, and the guy just gives him self up and releases the girls with out harming them or any others...

now i grew up in a town with 1500 people... my graduating class had 50 students (there where more, but by the 12 grade most of the guys dropped out to go work in the saw mill/logging/construction.. my self being one of them and a big amount of the girls dropped out to raise their baby or due to pregnancy... not me or anyone i was dating)

so anyways, in like 2004 or 2005...(my freshman year) there was a bomb threat... it was from a local yocal... the whole school was evacuated, along with the houses surrounding the school, local sheriffs showed up... fbi showed up... bomb squad... bomb sniffing dogs... the whole 9 yards... they do a thorugh search of the school and find nuthing... so they begin to trace where the email came from... the traced it to a guy in eygpt... so he was interigated, turns out his cmp was hacked, so they kepts tracing it... find a guy in some european country... same thing.. his cmp was hacked... so they continue their search for the person....

in the mean time... the guy is sitting in darrington hacking another computer the next day after we went back to school... he sends an email to one of the administrators, saying he had his rifle out, and was hidden where no one could see him, and was going to begin sniping people out...... so this time, we where forced to sit below the window level... and wait for the fbi swat teams and sheriffs to search the areas surrounding our school... (theres not alot of good sniper positions around our school... a few trees, thats about it for elivated positons... and some bushes around the school for ground level... so it didnt take long) again we where sent home... so they finally connect it to a guy in darrington, that graduated from the same high school and elementry school... but couldnt get a job because of his mental illnesses... but was extreamly smart with computers...

i guess he was in a chat room or some online forums... and ended up getting in a argument with the guy in europe, and the guy in eygupt... so he was hopeing to get back at them... by hacking their cmps and sending bomb threats from their cmp...(would of been better if he said some other BIGGER citys school... cause who the hell in eygpt has heard of darrington...

the really scary thing about it... was the day before he bomb threat me and my cusian where standing around with our councler, talking about how to make things blow up... and about the best rifle for long distance shooting... we figured we would get blamed lol

Man Fires on Police During Rising Sun Standoff - :: Cincinnati news story :: LOCAL 12 WKRC-TV in Cincinnati

 

There was a shooting at the local Kmart here on Saturday night. The story I heard was there was a guy in the bathroom with a gun telling people he was going to rob the store. Someone went out and told managment and then called the police. The man shot at the police officers and they returned fire. I have heard that they killed him and that they wounded him so I am not sure. This is another small town where you can walk down the
sidewalk and speak to nearly everyone.
