I have 8 lights mounted on my 1994 F150 L6. I also have an upgraded alternator (200 amps) and I know how to put that on. Heres what I want to do. Drill a hole in the bottom of the bed and then run wires on the left hand side of the truck and then up and thne through the firewall and the ones in the front just into the firewall. I have wire and switches, what else do I need to have and what do I need to do to get them running. I have no idea what I'm doing. hahaha
After You Got The Positive Cables Of Each Light Into The Cab, Have To Use Relays For Each Switch. Connect The Relays One Terminal Direct To Fuse Block Positive, Other To The Switch ON, Other To Switch On/Off, And The Other To The Light Cable...
Ahh.. I see now. What wattage rating are the lights? If they're 55w you can run the whole rollbar off 1 realy and 1 switch, and the pushbar off another.. unless you really want a pile of switches in the cab.
To better help you, we have to know:
- How many watts is each light
- Do you want all lights on at once, or different lights on different switches.
- What kind of switches and what wire gauge do you currently have?
I'm not trying to offend anybody, but I do not recommend following the diagram above!
