i own a 1991 f-150 4x4 with 302 not sure on the trany its either aod or eaod. well I was muddin went into some standing water and it was dep mud, liek a foot or two,, well I get driven didnt wanna let off the gas, but i eventually got stuck, put it into 4 lo tried gpon foward back forward back,, went foward eomthen it osunded liek I ran over a pipe or sumthin but there was no pipe, so I have no idea what it was,,, I eventually got out by flooring it into reverse for liek 15 seconds.. once out I unlocked my hubs but once I strated driven my tranny was all messsed, up, now when I drive it doesnt wanna shift gears unless I floor it real quick thenit shifts, bt If I dont floor it it justkeeps goin higher and high and if I gentley let off the gas then the Rpm drop but then I press the gas again its liek its in nuetral until it hits the rpm it dropeed at,, Im hopeing I dont godda get a new transmission, but if any one knows whats wrong lemme know,, I mean know I can drive it but to shift the gears I godda floor it real quick,, but tongiht on the way home from work it seemed to be shiften from 4 to OD fine and the shifting wasnt as severe in that I had to floor it,, IM thinkin maybe its mud stuck someone it shouldnt be, or maybe my tranny fliud I havent checked that yet,, but If i do need a new tranny whats the best to get,, I heard someone talking bout how he got an OD that was liek 10x better than stock, it was stronger and better shifts, and he had a low first gear pretty high second that made his truck ALot faster, well if anyone can help thad be great
