brake/ turn signal problem

Recently wired in a 6 point trailer harness connector on an '05 F-450 super duty and now the brake and turn signals do not work. The obvious problem is a short is blowing a fuse but i cannot even find a fuse for stop/turn lights. Any ideas or tech suggestions for chasing a short?. The harness connector was installed on an aftermarket contractors body. thanks for any help

Welcome to FTE. Do you have your owners manual handy? Should be a separate fuse for the trailer stop/turn lights, as well as a separate relay to energize the circuit I believe.

along with the fuses located under the dash panel there are also ones loacted under the hood that are for brake/hazzard/turn signal..

I did reference the owners manual and unfortunately the stop/ turn signal is not clearly marked out in it. I also pulled a couple of working relays from another superduty and tried it out in mine and that didn't seem to work. thanks for the replies. by the way, its not just the trailer lights that are not working but the truck lights as well, even when i am not hooked up to the trailer wiring.
