I have an 88 F150 4x4 with a shot 5 speed and im tryin to buy another 5 speed for the truck if anyone has a 5 speed tranny layin around that they want to sell just let me know

Would one from an 89 Ranger work? If it will just make it worth my time to pull and ship it. As all my Rangers are going to the pit in the next few weeks so parts from them is now or never.
