What does FICM stand for? And, what does it have to do with issues of non starting?

Fuel Injection Control Module. It controls how much fuel goes to the injectors. If it fails, no fuel goes to the injectors.

I asked the question because a year ago. I shut off my truck for an hour and then went back and it wouldn't start. Let it set for ten minutes and then it started. This happened again last week. Do you think that the FICA could play a part in this?

I assume you mean the FICM not FICA? It could be an issue. What year is the truck? How many miles? Any codes? What did it sound like when it wouldn't start?
