flathead motor mount supports
I had to find both of those for my '49. I got the front mounts from George Moir, out of Canada - 780.963.7334. Very helpful and I think very reasonable. I know Desert Valley Auto Salvage had them too, but he wanted almost 3x as much as I paid from Moir. Check there and see if they have more. I got the rear from Flashback F100 - 336.421.3979. I would try those 2 before Desert Valley. They seemed very expensive.
Hope that helps.
Look at this picture..
This was the set up in my 52 before I took out the flathead V8. The V8 is shorter in length and height, but wider than the 6 cylinder. The V8 mounts in the rear holes of the front brackets and needs the "lift" bracket in order to make it level with the transmission. (The 6 cyl mounts to the front holes of the bracket and doesn't need the "lift" brackets.)
I have the curved brackets separately from another truck (non-52), but I don't remember if they have the holes drilled for the attachment of the "lift" brackets. You could drill the required holes from a pattern that I can try and make for you. I also just took the "lift" brackets out yesterday when I installed a 215 back into my 52 from when it had a flathead V8 installed. I also have the old rubber engine mounts.
