Transmission manual
Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation on the best automatice transmission rebuilding manuals to get. I have a 1988 bronco II and am going to try rebuilding the transmission myself. Hey what the heck either that or trash it. I have looked at JC whitney, Haynes, Chilton and ATSG and just want to know which is the best to get. Appreciate it and thanks.

I realy liked the Haynes techbook on Ford tranys it is very detailed with info and step by step pictures. We like pictures around here. I bought the ATSG manual I did like it as good. The Haynes you can go to your local auto parts store and they will have it.

thanks for the reply. I have not tackled a job like this but figure it is worth the try since it cost more to get a new or rebuilt one instead of trying to rebuild. thanks and i will go and look at the the local store. have a great day. Oh i like pictures best also
