Overdrive light flashing off

Overdrive light flashing off
The other day my ck engine light came on then a couple of days later I notice that the overdrive light started to flash off. The light flashed for about 15-20 min then went to off. When I turned the truck off it went back to the on position and no other problems. also when I put the computer on the truck it gave a code for "speed sensor detecting over one mph variance" dont have the exact code. what could this be

UPDATE:
Okay I have the code in the computer says, output speed sensor insufficient input...
also when the overdrive light starts to flash off if i put truck in park it starts to rev from 500 rpm to about 900 rpm up and down...
