so i tried to remove the gas filter today and found out its not as easy as my other blue oval... the gas lines have these bell shaped connections and i tried just simply pulling them off but found i was using enough force to make the truck roll forward... so rather then breaking them... is there a trick to removing the inline gas filter on a 95 f150 4x4 5.8...
i was told my vss may be the cause of my dancing speedo... i tried cleaning the elec connection today and that hasnt solved it... is there anything special to note about removing the actual unit itself? just undue the bolt and pry it up?
There is a special tool to remove the fuel lines. You can get them at any parts store. They go aropund the line then you slide them into the hose and push together then seperate.
