From prior auctions i know it can be had in the $300 range. They have good feedback, but haven't been selling on ebay too long..I know. risky

opinions?
Looks pretty good. You might want to find out how much of the core charge they will keep since your converter is in questionable shape.

sorry for the , I'm going to post this over in the 7.3 forum also.

I contacted them, and my rattling converter will be fine for a core charge.

I called them on the phone today, and they seem like a reputable outfit. They have that particular converter on the shelf ready to ship.

I also thought about using a 6.0 TC, but john woods no longer sells the required adapters.

Whats everyone's schedule look like for a 2nd wrench party?
.

Weekends fill up fast once the kids are out of school. Pick your open weekends and we'll see what matches up.

That sounds great. I figure we'll be there at least 6 hours from the time we start...so you should have plenty of time.

Did you guys get everything done that you wanted to?

This is the writeup where I found the torque specs:

Ball Joint Replacement Write-Up For Ford F250 F350 Superduty

I couldn't find them here on FTE, although I found them for an OBS, and they wound up being the same.

Not everything. We got the straight pipe installed, the ball joints and axle seals, and the new wheels/tires on. Pretty tired after that so we didn't get to his gauges.

Racerguy's ball joint instructions are up in the Superduty forum. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/3...ll-joints.html

Wow, talk about a long day...enjoyable though. Thanks again for the torque specs Joe and thank you Dave and Scott for the much needed help.

That staight pipe sounds wicked and the tires have a nice hum to them also.

Sorry I wasn't able to make it over there. Was getting ready to head over but I got a phone call about someone buying some stuff from me. After that the girls wanted to go swimming, then we had to go deliver the old play set to the lady. We didn't even eat dinner till 8pm...LONG day. Now I am finding out how much fun it is to put one of those big wooden play sets together! LOL Mike, the new rims and tires look great on the truck...can't wait to hear it!
