Gasket on 8.8 diff cover.

I bought a chrome differential cover that came with a gasket for my 8.8. I was wondering if I should use the gasket, or just use silicone?

Primary rig is Green Thunder:

Check out my Gallery for a look-see.

Then theres:

88' F-250 Superduty 4x4 351/c6
95' Mercury Cougar 4.6L V-8
80' E-350 300/6 with a

my 0.02, since you already have the gasket and dont have to buy one I would use the gasket they provided. My experience has been good in using gaskets over silicone sealant.
