Boost gauge question

OK, I have my DP on the way (or it shortly will be) and am ordering the ISSPro gauges. I assume with no engine mods other than the tunes, the 0 - 30lb boost gauge is the one I need? Are the higher boost gauges just for modded turbo's and or engines?

Thanks, David.

x2 from above. 30psi is plenty unless PMS gets ahold of you and you get a 38R

Yep, the guys are right, if you planing on modding with a bigger turbo or injectors and so on, get the 40, I got a 38R turbo and a 30 boost and I can peg it at 30 if it doesn't defuel first, I'll be getting the 40 boost gauge somewhere down the line.

You guys are the best. Thanks for the answers, exactly what i was looking for, from those who use 'em. I'm getting the 30 as I don't plan on doing much else for performance and I don't scream on it,.....often!

David.

Depending on what gauges you get, EV, get the 30, there cheap enough that if you ever go bigger (and you will) you can buy another one easy... But if you go EV-2 get the 40#... There a bit more, but I much rather prefer the electric gauges for boost...
