what year is it an F150,250,350 or what? also it wont be a 9" if its factory they started getting phased out in i believe 83 and were completely gone in i think 85 someone correct me if im wrong. The Likely rear is a 8.8" rear end if its a F150.
figured someone would get a laugh outa it... its a 95 f 150 4x4 5.8 351w ... its stock as far as i know. the guy i bought it off of said he just re-did the rear end but i dont know if that means replaced or repair... he was also a bit of a ****... didnt change the oil in over a year...
its a 8.8" rear. Only way it isnt if he changed the whole axle. and someone that doesnt change even their oil often probably wouldnt change the whole axle. Do you know if he redid the front end gears also? because if he CHANGED the gears in the rear he would have to in the front to make sure they match up. if he just redid the rear that means its still stock gears. go out to your truck and get the axle code on the sticker in the door jam and tell the number.
wow it means just kidding. i was kinda mean yeah ok kinda sarcasticly. well thats just why the internet doesnt work well for me. im way to sarcastic. but arktos what do you mean in adjust gearing? like changing the gears or what?
yea if i want to adjust for better highway milage... as much as i love off road'N i got a cross canada journey coming up and 300k a tank would be detrimental to the wallet... eventually id gear it back to torque to go muddin again... if its less then arguous...
