I have an 84 Bronco, brand new motor( or rebuilt ). I bought it last December, and the guy I bought it from gave me the receipt that showed the tranny had been rebuilt about 25,000 miles ago. Ok now the problems. After we dropped the engine, it took about 20 min going in reverse and forward in 2 wheel and 4x4 to get it to even really move. Then I went to pick it up from the shop yesterday( got the exhaust put on) And it felt real draggy. And now when I put it in reverse after it has been sitting for a while it will die. Tonight when I left work, I had to rev it to 3,000 and put it in reverse to get it to move. Then when i go forward it feels as if there is about 30000 pounds tied to my back axle. I also tried it in 4x4 on the way home and then it wouldn't even shift out of 1st gear. Plus i can't even shift it manually, the shifter won't go over to 1 or 2, just D. And to top it all off, as i drove it yesterday and today, when i would let off the gas and start to slow down it felt like i was getting rearended like the tranny was slipping or something. I am so freaking pissied right now , please any help would be greatly aprreciated. SORRY IT IS SO LONG!
