460 conversion questions. please help!

i am trying to put a 460 in my 88 bronco that originally came with the 300 and the c6. i need to know what kind of adapter (if any) i need to use to bolt it up to the c6. also i have thought about maybe goin with a manual. what would be the best one to put with the 460? and how would i go about doin that?

you need a big block C6 tranny or a manual tranny with the big block bolt pattern. you wont find an adapter plate. you will also need specific mounts, different radiator.

that 300-6 is efi right so are you going efi on the 460?

I have a 460 in a 80 Bronco, it is a car engine. The frame on the passenger side had to be cut for the exhaust. I ungerstand that a engine out of a truck with truck manifolds does not need the frame notched.

well the motors from car or truck are the same Bertha, but the manifolds would infact make a huge difference.
