Best Bronco manual?
I'll need to get him a separate manual for the motor.... naturally taking after his mama, he's got a 429 385 series engine under the hood. He'll have all the same problems I do when trying to get parts, though at least he won't get the "Lady, that motor doesn't come in that truck" crap. So, any recommendations for a manual for rebuilding 429's would be appreciated as well. Please don't yell at me for not asking this on the engine forum... I only have so much time, and with dial-up, everything is so fricken slow!
And I have to brag a bit... my son got a killer deal! There must be 10K invested in the suspension alone! There's stuff under there that I don't even know what to call. *grin* It was set up for truck pulls, though the previous owner never got around to building the motor... it's all stock. All the rebuild parts are crammed in the back.
It's in pretty good shape bodywise, and runs nice, though it leaks a bit. The interior isn't bad either. I guess I'll have to forgive him for buying an automatic *shudder* because he bought it for $700!
We are looking forward to working on our trucks together, then taking them out to play. Weeee!

Might be good places to start. Haynes manual may also be helpful.
