I was looking for a 78-79 D60 for the front of my 78 bronco and I found a good deal on an early eighties one. My questions are can I use it? what are the differences? also is it worth the effort or should I keep looking for a 78-79 D60?

I believe after 79 the frames got wider. You'll have to move the spring perches. Other than that, I can't think of any other problems, except for the steering. They might use a different pitman arm than you use. Hope this helps.
