Starting Problem
2000 F250 Super Duty 7.3 powerstroke, 6 speed standard, sometimes when I depress clutch pedal engine won't turn over. I've replaced safety switch on clutch rod didn't help, tonight woudn't turn over came back an hour later started fine, batteries, cables and connections are fine anybody got any ideas?

Yes everything is normal, the stsrter just does not engage, I am thinking starter relay or selinod. I replaced the safety switch on the clutch pedal because when it won't roll over it acts the same as if the pedal is not depressed.

Intermittant electrical problems are the toughest to trace out. Next time it wont start try testing for voltage across the starter solenoid. We can start tracking it down form there. Make sure that all the connections are tight & clean from the batteries to the starter including grounds
