93 7.3l f250 5 spd.
trying to get the right part # for the serp. belt for my truck.
ford is giving me jk61113a. they said this is the part # for without the neece alt. why does it ask for the neece alt. I would like to get the gates belt.

The length of the ford belt stated is 113 but some use 112.5....... when you release the tensioner the belt should just slip under the vacuum pump pulley and the tensioner should take up the slack and have spring pressure. Do check the tensioner and all idler pulleys for serviceability..... no dry bearings or side to side play.
